Mr. Usman Ilahi Malik
CFA serves as Chairman of the Board at Punjab Oil Mills Ltd. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania with majors in Finance & Marketing and minors in Economics and Asian & Middle Eastern Studies. Mr. Malik is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He started his career as an analyst with HSBC Investment Banking, and later joined POML in 1999. He has been associated with the company in various roles since the last 26 years including as the CEO till 2024.
Mr. Tahir Jahangir
is the founder of the Punjab Oil Mills and served as the last Chairman of the company. He is currently the serving CEO of the company. He has a rich experience in the food business and was the managing director of Punjab Vegetable Ghee and Gen Mills limited when it was nationalized in 1973.
He has a Tripos degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, England. He has served as the Chairman of the Towel Manufacturers Association of Pakistan on a number of occasions.
He is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mian Mohummad Trust which runs a 200 bed Not for Profit Hospital in Faisalabad. He has also published a number of articles and two books on Tourism and Trade.
Mr. Jillani Jahangir
Serves as an Executive Director on the Board of Punjab Oil Mills Ltd. He is also serving Punjab Oil Mills Limited as a member of the Human Resource and Remuneration Committee.
Miss. Mehrunisa Malik
Serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Punjab Oil Mills Ltd. She has a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, Operational Research and Statistics from the University of Warwick, UK, and an MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development from University College, London. Miss. Malik is currently a development professional, consulting and working with organizations such as The World Bank. She is also the founding member and COO of Saaf Suthra Sheher, a pioneering recycling company in Pakistan.
Mr. Furqan Anwar Batla
Serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Punjab Oil Mills Ltd. He got his graduation in Computer Sciences from the American National College, Lahore. He is also a member of Audit Committee and Human Resource and Remuneration Committee.
Mr. Ahmad Aqeel
A business person, qualified lawyer and a certified director with over two decades of diverse experience, spanning across petroleum, gas, power and financial sectors. Holds an established record of serving as an independent and non-executive director on the boards of various listed and unlisted companies. The extensive experience is by virtue of serving as a director on the boards of National Investment Trust Limited, Nishat Power Limited, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, Millat Tractors Limited and Adamjee Life Assurance Company Limited. Credited with setting up and managing private business venture in collaboration with PARCO GUNVOR LIMITED (Formerly Total Parco Pakistan Limited) for last two decades. Certified from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance and enrolled with the SECP Independent Director’s databank. He has been attending local and international workshops, courses & conferences. A corporate member of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry and a regular member of Lahore Gymkhana Club. Currently, serving as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of National Investment Trust Limited. Additionally, serving as an Independent Director on the Boards of Punjab Oil Mills Limited and Lalpir Power Limited.
Mrs. Munizae Jahangir
Serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Punjab Oil Mills Ltd. She got a BA in Political Science and English from Mc Gill University in Canada and an MA in Media Studies from The New School University in New York. She is also a member of the Human Resource and Remuneration Committee.
Munizae Jahangir is a broadcast journalist and documentary filmmaker, currently anchoring a flagship current affair show on one of Pakistan’s leading media news network Aaj TV, called, ‘Spotlight with Munizae Jahangir’. Jahangir is a co-founder and Editor in Chief of Voicepk.net, a digital media platform focusing on human rights issues. Since 2004 Jahangir has been anchoring and reporting for prominent news media outlets in Pakistan, which include Dawn and Geo network. She was the first Pakistani journalist to have reported for an Indian news channel, NDTV as their country correspondent for ten years.
